Keffer Volkswagen wants to share the most recent VW Touareg news, and this news is something to be incredibly excited about! The 2011 Touareg is driving the Panamericana75! What exactly is the Panamericana? It is a legendary drive across the longest road in the world, the road that connects Alaska and Finland, while crossing 16 different countries. This year the Touareg will make the long trek of 14,000 miles, which will take 14 days ending on the 17th of May. Not only are we stoked that the Volkswagen Touareg was chosen to make the drive, but also excited that this is the 75th anniversary year of the Panamericana!
After the Touareg makes its famous trip, it will return to the United States in June 2011. Once returning to the states the Touareg and Rainer Zietlow, the driver for the Panamericana will tour through the US and Canada during a four weeks roadshow! This roadshow will stop in Charlotte June 18,2011 and will appear in all of theCharlotte Volkswagen dealerships!
